Ohio Insurance Continuing Education Requirements

Continuing Education Hours

• 24 hours 3 of which must be approved as Ethics, every 2 years renewal due on the last day of their birth month.
• Agents with a limited lines license for title insurance must complete 10 hours biennially

Continuing Education Compliance Date
On-going renewal cycles shall be the last day if an agent’s birth month every 2 years.

Type of courses accepted for CE Credit
Independent self study courses or classroom

Course Subject Requirements
Title agents must take courses related to title insurance business

Carryover Requirements
Not allowed

Course Repetition
Courses may not be repeated more than once in a reporting period

Final Exam
Ohio Insurance CE credit does not require a final exam.
