Course Description
The real estate industry is not immune from change. In fact, we can witness
change evolving in our industry at a rapid pace. The coming years will
challenge the real estate practitioner to adapt to change or be left behind.
In this course we will focus on important changes to:
- The real estate industry
- The consumer
- Service preferences and delivery
- Other industry related changes that affect the industry and consumer.
After completing this course, you will be better equipped to serve your
clients with the skills and practices that meet their every changing need.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, you will be able to:

Recognize the areas necessitating change for the benefit of business
integrity, continuation and growth.

Explain the fundamental changes affecting the real estate industry
including the role of the broker/agent, technology, broker
profitability, and client representation.

Detail the demographic changes which will significantly affect
consumers, market segments and what clients will be expecting and
needing from a real estate professional.

Review the environmental concerns facing the real estate industry
including, radon, lead paint, mold, asbestos, electric transmission
lines and wetlands issues.

Understand how the changing trends within the lending industry impacts
the real estate industry.
- Discuss how changing forces will affect property values.

Seat Time
This course has been approved for 3 hours of Continuing Education
credit.
Testing
Quizzes - There is a quiz at the end of each lesson to test comprehension
of the subject matter. Mastery is not required before proceeding
to the next lesson.
Final Exam - You will not be required to take the final exam.
Course Completion
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to
print your certificate. You are required to submit your certificate
to the Division of Real Estate in order to receive Continuing Education credit.
