Course Description
During the real estate purchase process, real estate professionals may be called on
to explain Title Insurance to their clients. The purpose of this course is to
describe what Title Insurance covers and doesn’t cover as well as reviewing
title-related issues that may arise.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, real estate professionals will be able to
- Discuss and explain Schedules A, B-1, and B-2 of a title insurance commitment.
- Discuss and explain matters covered by a standard title insurance policy.
- Discuss and explain matters excluded from the coverage of a standard title insurance policy.
- Assist clients in considering title-related issues that arise.

Seat Time
This course has been approved for 3 hours of Continuing Education credit.
Testing
Quizzes - There is a quiz at the end of each lesson to test comprehension of
the subject matter. Mastery is not required before proceeding to the next lesson.
Final Exam - You are not required to take a final exam.
Course Completion
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to print your certificate. You are
required to submit your certificate to the Division of Real Estate in order to receive Continuing
Education credit.
